Molly Frantz, LPC, ATR-P

Populations Served: Children, Adolescents

Molly Frantz is a graduate of Ursuline College, where she received training in both Art Therapy and in Counseling.  She is receiving additional training and supervision in order to achieve Registered Art Therapist (ATR) credentials, and currently holds a Provisional license.

Ms. Frantz has performed clinical intervention utilizing Art Therapy techniques in a variety of settings and with several different populations, including non-english speaking clients, clients with medical disorders, students in school settings and children/adolescents with mental health concerns. She is especially skilled in clinical work with young children and school-age children.   Her Art Therapy skills provide an avenue of expression for children who may struggle to verbally communicate their emotions.   Ms. Frantz additionally enjoys helping parents better understand the needs of their children and how to assist them to improve behavior/emotional functioning.  Thus, her work with young children, in particular, often includes parent consultation.

In her work at NEOBH, Ms. Frantz works with school-age children who receive clinical services within school environments, as well as office-based counseling services.  She is adept at communicating with teachers, parents and other professionals to devise ways to help children achieve social, emotional and academic success.
