Seandra Walker, Ph.D.

Dr. Walker is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is currently
working toward Independent Licensure as a Psychologist. The majority of
her clinical training and experience has focused on the assessment and
treatment of children and adolescents who demonstrate a multitude of
emotional and behavioral concerns. In addition to her clinical practice
experiences in office-based environments, Dr. Walker has worked in
medical settings, and has provided mental health intervention to
patients with life-threatening health diagnoses.
Walker is trained to delivered Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral
Treatment (TF-CBT), and she utilizes this Evidenced-Based Practice in
her work with clients who have experienced trauma. At NEOBH, Dr. Walker
works with children and adolescents who demonstrate a variety of
emotional and behavioral challenges and she often includes caregivers
in treatment interventions. Areas of special clinical interest include
clinical interventions for adolescents connected with the Juvenile
Justice System, as well as children and families who are involved with
Family or Juvenile Court cases. She additionally performs Psychological
Evaluations to assist with diagnostic clarification and provide
recommendations for effective intervention.
